Meridian Current

[Verse 1] Concrete towers catch the evening hue Signal beacons flashing in the blue Footsteps echoing down the platform line Counting minutes on the transit sign [Chorus] We ride the wire through the falling light Static hums across the meridian night Turn the dials until the signals clear Everything we sought is waiting here [Verse 2] Overpass reflections in the glass Watching silent silhouettes drift past Every current finds its open course Pulled forward by a quiet force
